Terms of Service

Last updated: February 16, 2026

1. Agreement

By using ScanMyCode.dev ("the Service"), operated by FreelyIT ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

ScanMyCode.dev provides AI-powered code audit services. You submit source code via GitHub repository URL or file upload, and we deliver a detailed audit report covering areas such as code quality, security, performance, dependencies, and/or Docker configuration.

3. Orders and Payment

  • All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes.
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of order.
  • After payment, your audit is queued for processing.
  • Audit reports are delivered within 24 hours via a secure email link.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your audit report, you may request a full refund within 7 days of delivery by contacting support@scanmycode.dev. Refunds are processed via the original payment method.

5. Your Code and Intellectual Property

  • You retain all intellectual property rights to the code you submit.
  • We do not claim ownership of your code or the audit results.
  • Your code is used solely to perform the requested audit and is not shared with third parties.
  • Submitted code is deleted within 30 days after audit completion.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all submitted code as confidential. We will not share, publish, or use your code for any purpose other than performing the requested audit. Our team and AI systems process your code in a secure environment.

7. AI-Generated Reports

Audit reports are generated using AI technology. While we strive for accuracy and thoroughness, AI-generated analysis may not catch every issue. Reports are intended as guidance and should not be considered a guarantee that your code is free of defects or vulnerabilities. We recommend using our reports alongside your own review processes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanMyCode.dev and FreelyIT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Service or reliance on audit reports. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific audit in question.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit code that you do not have the right to share.
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes.
  • Attempt to abuse, exploit, or overload the Service.
  • Resell or redistribute audit reports without permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
